TERRIER MOMENTUM FUND
*** Loading the Terrier Relief Fund giving information ***
Thank you!
The Terrier Momentum Fund, which began as the Terrier Relief Fund, has been aptly re-named. A small group of Wofford supporters have come together to commit the matching money for this inspiring challenge. After rolling out the initiative in mid February, it became clear to the group that this special endeavor is more than just providing budgetary relief. It is about continuing the momentum of the Wofford Athletics Department after a brief competition hiatus due to COVID-19.
The Wofford Terriers are a proud bunch; we support each other and set the standard. We are the three-time defending Southern Conference Football Champions. We are the only Southern Conference college or university with an NCAA Men’s Basketball Tournament win in the past decade. We also had 245 All Southern Conference Academic Honor Roll student-athletes this past year.
The intent of this fund is to carry over the momentum from this past decade despite the short-term challenges that we are experiencing due to the pandemic in the current moment.
UP TO $250,000,
EVERY DOLLAR DONATED TO THIS FUND WILL BE MATCHED
1-FOR-1.
By supporting this fund, donors are contributing to Wofford Athletics’ ability to provide essential resources to more than 300 student-athletes while allowing us to remain a competitive Division I program. All gifts to this fund are philanthropic and will not count towards Terrier Club annual giving levels. Donations to the Terrier Momentum Fund are tax deductible and, therefore, ineligible for any current year membership benefits.
Our student-athletes have worked extremely hard, and we have made a commitment to them that we intend to fulfill. We thank you for joining us in that commitment.
